Vilas County Historical Information The museum is located in Sayner, Wisconsin on Highway 155 just 1 block North of Highway N Open 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM Everyday Memorial Day Weekend thru Colorama Weekend (Mid-October) There is no charge for admission. A Voluntary Contribution of $ 2.00 per Adult is greatly appreciated to help maintain and continue our growth. |

Membership Information The Vilas County Historical Museum, founded in 1959, offers an extensive collection of historic exhibits and artifacts dating back to the pioneer days of the late 1800's in northern Wisconsin. Individuals, families and businesses interested in helping preserve the history of Vilas County, can do so through a membership in the Museum and Historical Society. Your contributions are tax deductible. The Museum is registered as a non-profit organization. Since its inception in 1959 the Museum has completed three expansion projects. Each were funded by the generous donations of visitors, residents and by membership fees. With your support, the Museum will continue to develop exhibits which portray the heritage of Vilas County. |
