Smoky Lake Wilderness offers a Canadian Wilderness experience close to home. We are located in the Southwest corner of Michigan's Iron County and the Northeastern corner of Vilas County, Wisconsin. A 6,000 acre private fenced in facility contains trophy Elk, Whitetail Deer, and American Buffalo, free to roam in their natural environment. For the upland bird hunter, we offer Pheasant, Chukar and Turkey, not to mention first class Duck hunting. Guides and dogs are included to ensure success in the field.
For the fisherman, we have six private lakes supporting large populations of Rainbow, Brook, and Brown Trout, Smallmouth Bass, Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, Perch, Walleye and Musky. To sharpen your shooting skills, we offer sporting clays, skeet or trap. To further enjoy the wilderness, we have numerous trails for hiking, biking, cross country skiing and snowshoeing.
No matter what your outdoor hobby is, Smoky Lake Wilderness offers a unique private and secluded way to enjoy God's country without traveling half-way across the world.
